Nurses with disabilities...website.

Hello all. Yesterday I received the Nursing Spectrum, May 5th edition. On page 34, there is a great article for nurses with disabilities. The woman (nurse) that wrote the article has a website called ExceptionalNurse.com.

The site provides links to disability organizations, equipment, employment opportunities, financial aid, legal issues etc... Might be worth checking out.

This morning I found an article on Medscape about nurses with disabilities. Good article -- even addresses the possibility that bringing back nurses that think they can no longer work could ease the shortage. Link is http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/452605
