Are you all doing any computer or web-based training for mandatory inservice topics in your hospitals?

If so, how does it work for you?

If not, would you consider it?

several months back everyone in our public hospital [county owned, university run] had to do compliance training about confidentiality, coding and billing. it was not horrible although we were given no set aside time and it was difficult to fit around pt. care. I did like it better than getting a bunch of paper handouts and tests.

I work weekends and chose this so I could babysit my g-kids during the week. All inservices where I work are on payday Thursday. I would have to take a 2 & 3 yr old to the meeting and they are not paying you for this time I cannot ee the sense in going. It would be nice to have an alternate way to get insevices.Shoot I would try it :) why not? If it was available on the weekends deb
