My wife's birthday help!

Hey all! I need your help here, because I have no clue where to go next. My wife's birthday is upon me, and I want to get her a new stethascope, but I don't know what I should get her. I know I want to get her a Litman one, but which model would be best for her is beyond me. I have a budget of a hundred dollars for this. A bit of info about her: She is currently working in cardiac progressive care and just got accepted for a job in labor and delivery. Right now, she's using a Litman Lightweight model stethascope she's had since she started nursing school, and she deserves better. I want to order online and the hundred dollar budget would have to include shipping costs.

Have you looked on Ebay. Thats were I bought mine and I think I have a master classic 2 and paid 75 for it. MIne waa brand new and I have had no issues with it. I am somewhat hard of hearing and it works well for me. I dont do L&D so I cant recommend anything, I just wanted to let you know you can get good deals on these on e-bay.

This one looks good to me. Pick her favorite color tubing and add the ID https://www.littmannstethoscopes.com/order/idtag.htmtag . It's a little cheaper if you order them together. You will probably be a little over your limit, tho. The ID tag is very imp't--Littmanns grow legs sometimes!

I googled Littmann stethoscopes to get a list of places that sell them, so you could look for prices on line. You could also check surgical supply stores in your area, or even e-Bay.

I just ordered a cardiology III for 119.oo + shipping. The master classic is $68 & that would probably suit her needs. You might have her look without telling her or ask one of her nurse friends she works with for a suggestion.

Either way, she gets a good stethoscope & a very thoughtful husband. Makes for a pretty great day!
