Ok, Im so excited, I have an interview on monday, Do you guys have any advice or tips on how to successfully get through it?? Please help. Im estatic, but I dont want to lose it either. :yeah:

Specializes in Pedi ICU.

Dress well, eat a small breakfast if it's in the morning, don't drink a gallon of coffee prior to it, listen to some calming music on the way to your interview. Look up some information about the specialty you're interviewing for. Be respectful.

Oh, and positive thinking works wonders.

Oh, the position is for Cna.

Specializes in LTC/Rehab.

Get a good night's sleep prior to the interview. Dress professional. Bring resume, cna, cpr/first aid certification, along with photo I.D. Smile and give eye contact. Good luck with everything!

Make packets of cover letter, resume, and any other important docs. Make enough to pass out if having a panel interview. Know something about the company and include that in why you want to work for them.

Afterward send a thank you card. I sent a funny one about being interviewed and stress and one of the managers I interviewed with still has it hanging on her door.

dress professionally, say thank you for the chance of the interview, sit upright, smile and always make eye contact, show your confidence that you got the skills to do the job.

thanks guys. As the time winds down, im getting more nervous by the minute. But hopefully, i'll walk out of there and they'll have a new very willing employee on their staff.:clpty:
