Joint commission requesting to see diploma

I was at work on Tuesday and had joint commission follow me up from lab and do their check while I hung blood. Now I got a call from HR asking me to bring in my diploma because joint commission wanted to see it. Has this happened to anyone? Should I be worried?

This is typical of any place of employment or TJC. At any given moment HR may be asked for various employment files to check the credentials of any employee, all the way down to the transporters.

Don't take anything TJC does personally.

What about nurses who have been licensed for about 25 years and their school no longer exists and they can not find their diploma?
