Does anyone know where I can get Nursing Diagnosis info online for free. I need info such as Planning, Implementation and Evaluation on:

1. Impaired gas exchange related to decreased cardiac output and fluid overload.

2. Decreased Output related to Cardiac dysfunction.

I've never had much luck finding free info online. Best to buy a book, you'll get a lot of use out of it. Or go to your school library, lots of careplan books on shelves there I bet. Check your med/surg book for sample care plans for these types of diagnoses too.

Your best nursing school investment is a good careplan book!!

I have Springhouse's Nursing Diagnosis Reference Manual, Holloway's Medical-Surgical Care Planning, and Mosby's All-in-One care Planning Resource and use them ALL weekly. I also have Ackley's Nursing Diagnosis Handbook, but I'm not crazy about the layout so I use it as a last resort.

Your school library should have books you can use, or try looking in your Med-Surg textbook.
