You would think that most ppl would know what they want to do (espescially nursing!!), but maybe those who ask "Should I be a nurse?" are confused and need help. They need an explanation on a pro-con basis. (You get punched, hit, cursed, puked on, pooped on, but its all good!!!) As annoying as it is, try to be understanding. You were a pre-grad once too John 3:16

I hate posts with titles that include "please help............." or "Not sure what to do............" F- for being vague!

Also this: "I HATE bedside nursing." Usually from someone with less than six months of experience, who wants a managerial position.

    Hyperbole and a Half

This really had me laughing with uncontrollable merriment until the tears flowed.

    ...

And, I detest the "OMG...I'm sooo depressed over the B+ I got in [insert class here] Do you think I can still get into nursing school??????"

Trolls will be trolls. And, if they are not trolling and need real, seriously help, then why are they here and not asking the people in real life these real questions. I digress... I do and help with what I can and take it for what it is. Some of these replies are hilarious, I'll give it that!

I actually did get pregnant right around the time my acceptance letter was being sent out. 2 weeks later, my partner and I had an "oh shiz" moment. Also, of course I told. Told my programs advisors and they were fantastic and supportive. Told work, same reaction, totally wonderful and accommodating. I think they were better than my partner!!

Now telling them I had a delayed miscarriage and wouldn't be back to work for three weeks due to medications, that was a different story. Still good about it (and I think my school advisor was relieved), but a different tone.
