i don't know how to start studying... for the remedial program i'm supposed to take 50qs NCLEX review books and answer them and give them to the the remedial professor...that's about all i can do...

so should i reread the chapters that i failed first and then start studying everything from the beginning and make outlines of each chapter and then study power points presentations? i can relisten to some of the lectures...

what do i do at this point?

i have never failed anything before.

I would certainly look harder at the difficult topics, the topics that you were comfortable and knowledgable in would have no need to go over them again. Outlining is great for self study as far as I am concerned. But you have to be able to apply what you have learned. NCLEX books may assist in that aspect. Good Luck to you!

I don't really have any advice, just wanted to say that I'm sorry that this happened to you and I hope you are successful in the remedial program. Perhaps you can think back to what you did to pass the first semester and begin to implement those studying habits. I really don't know, but I hope you find what works for you.

I am sorry this has happen to you, but what I can say is don't give up!. Do you know of a study group that maybe of some assistance to you? Or maybe you can spend some down time if you have any and do an assesment of your time management for that semester do you have more stress this go around than last go around? that could effect this as well. Try and go to a library or maybe a coffee store? or see if there is a study group if not try and recruit others to make one with you?

Any any event good luck and much success, believe me we all fail sometime or another in life, the important things is we forgive ourselves and get up and keep going.
