- Apr 8 by sbostonRNJust got my renewal notice today actually. I always carry liability insurance...it is $108 for the year, a small price to pay!
- Apr 8 by turnforthenurseRNEver since a nursing instructor told me she got called into court for something that happened 20 years ago, I make sure I NEVER go without malpractice insurance. It's too cheap not to carry it.
- Apr 9 by JustaGypsyI have never heard of another malpractice company other than NSO here in the States. Any others out there?Last edit by JustaGypsy on Apr 9 : Reason: spelling
- Apr 9 by elkparkThe other company that specializes in professional liability for nurses (and other healthcare occupations) and gets mentioned frequently is Marsh (www.proliability.com). I have had coverage with both NSO and Marsh at different times over the years. Fortunately , haven't had occasion to use the insurance, so I don't have any opinion about one vs. the other.
