How to transfer to California as a nurse

Hello I've been working as an RN the past 4 months and have submitted all of my paperwork for my California license. Does anyone know what type of jobs i should be applying to or start applying to in California? I will be getting my license beginning of March and was planning to move there in the fall. Anyone have any experience or advice on making the move from one state to another? I'm from New York. Also, If i apply to jobs in California will they have me travel there for an interview? Thank you for the input!
