How to keep a license active in 2 states?

Hi, I'm scheduled to take my RN boards by exam in Nebraska but my boyfriend lives in Texas and wants me to move there. Once I finish my boards and do decide I want to move to Texas is there a way to keep my license active in Nebraska incase something happens and I move back?

Yes -- just renew it when it's time to renew, and meet whatever requirements (CEUs, etc.) the state has for renewal. Lots of nurses maintain licensure in more than one state. It's not a big deal.
