High Acceptance Accelerated Nursing Schools?

Nurses General Nursing

So I made the mistake of working two jobs my entire life. This also includes during school. I will be graduating with my psych bachelors this winter, but my GPA stands only at a 3.2 (sadly sciences are lower). My pre-req sciences include: A&P 1- C+, A&p 2- C, Chemistry- C, and Micro- A (can you tell when I decided to cut back to one job and bite the student loan bullet?). I've worked as a CNA for 7 years now, and love what I do.

I've applied to some basic nursing degrees and have been denied all of them. I understand they are much harder to get into than accelerated. Can anyone recommend to me a accelerated nursing program I'd stand a chance at? I would prefer NY, but willing to try nearby states and FL.

Thank you!

Not sure where you heard that accelerated BSN is easier to get into. They are just as competitive if not more difficult to get into. 3.2 may not cut it. Remember the minimum GPA is the lowest they will accept. You are competing with people with higher & lower GPAs. I taught for ten years in a BSN program with minimum GPA was 3.0; Many semesters all 48 that were accepted had 3.5 GPA or higher.

A lot of schools require a B or better in the sciences.
