I found a program the uses your pC to help find a cure for cancer go to this link and check it out I have it on my CRT and no proplems noted. It runs when my CRT is not in use like a screensaver and stops running when I open my CRT to use it like a system tool does. Its URL is http://members.ud.com/home.htm

I went to the site, but when I read the messageboards I found it seemed complicated. It sounded like they are doing some kind of work on the project. It's a very interesting concept and I hope people check it out.

It is not that complicated you download the prodram and install it on your PC, it runs unoticed andas a screen saver if you want it to and it is working on one piece of the puzzle and then the results automatically are returned to the researchers. If you want whilre they running the experiment you can actually see what your PC is doing to help find the answer. It really is a cost effective way of doing research where there is no need to purchase super computers since your individual computer links up automatically with thousands of other ones through thier server. YOU have nothing to do with the project other than allowing them to use your CRT when you are not. It runs just like a screen saver!
