Hi everyone! I haven't been on in a while because I am in Thailand (1 month). Bangkok is awesome (food, culture, temples). I don't want to leave.

I was in Phuket for 8 days also, but I like Bangkok the best. Bangkok never sleeps and the heat is unreal (100 degrees today, no joke) but I have always tolerated the heat over the cold.

Bangkok has a population of 10 million. Originally called Siam, until 1939. The Thai people are very welcoming and it's safe to travel.

One US dollar is around 35 baht and you can eat street food for 35 baht. I have found cheap restaurants where I was able to buy a curry dish, rice and water for 50 baht.

Definitely worth the long flight! I will return.
