Gifts for Instructors @ Graduation

Hi all. I'm looking for advice/suggestions about gifts to present to our faculty/instructors at our grad ceremony in May.

At previous grad ceremonies I've attended at school, the seniors call up the faculty one by one to present them with a gift, usually in a gift bag so we have no idea what it is.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I just graduated in December:) . We used some of our club money to buy new lab coats for each instructor (classroom, not clinical instructors). We had a friends mother embroider their names and titles on them...the embroidery was really special for one of our instructors, because she had just gotten her MSN completed that semester. They all really appreciated the gift and it wasn't that expensive. Congrats on your upcoming graduation.

Instructors are paid by the institution to "instruct". It is their job; not a "favor" to the students.

However, IF a particular instructor went out of his/her way to help you out in some individual way, a card would be appropriate.
