Okay I've been a few days trying to find something to write about. I have to do a legal issue or a gender-related issue. It has to be supported with a article no older than one year from now. And has to be found in a nursing related Journal. At this point I am open to writing about anything. I have looked up growth attenuation, anything with dialysis... informed consent... I'm not allowed to do physician-assisted suicide..... I would like to stay with a topic in nephrology but since my paper is due this coming week I do not care I just need some suggestions please :)

It is not so much a topic it is finding an article then I can write a summary about.. I can not find a copy of any article within the last year that is in a nursing Journal...

I always started papers by sifting through the resources. Check your universities online search for an EBSCO host and place in the search the criteria you need.

Example: select nursing journals, peer reviewed, then the dates, I would place words like: + legal, +nursing +gender, into the the search and see what you get, choose your topic from those articles.

My university had instructions on how to do this... when it was confusing to me I called the library and they walked me through it while I was at home on my computer......

I would suggest you call your library, they will know what nursing journal they subscribe too. For us to suggest something would require us to to the search and then provide the article, otherwise it's a shot in the dark that doesn't get you any closer to completed your paper.

Try looking in a nursing journal for ideas. If your school has access to Cinahl, that is another good place to start (if you don't know how to search the databases, ask a librarian. You will most likely have to learn if you continue with school.)
