Does anyone work at the Kaiser Hospitals?? They had advertised that they were going one step beyond and starting lower RN/pt ratios. Has anyone working at these centers seen this? If so does it include LPN???

KAISER PERMANENTE NURSES AND MANAGERS ARE IMPLEMENTING SAFE STAFFING RATIOS

In an unprecedented move designed to stem the looming nursing shortage by improving staffing levels and patient care, Kaiser Permanente (KP), California's largest health care employer, endorsed the nurse-to-patient ratios proposed by 45,000 nurses represented by the SEIU Nurse Alliance and United Nurses Associations of California (UNAC) and is working to implement them right now. KP's endorsement in July 2001 makes it the first major hospital employer in the nation to publicly take a stand for higher nurse-to-patient staffing ratios.
