Hmm, very interesting. Remember some years back when Dr. Frederick LeBoyer advocated quiet delivery rooms, placing healthy newborns in a warm bath, delaying taking weights, instilling eye gtts, etc.? He believed, and I agree, that it made birth much less traumatic for the precious, newly arrived wee ones. Maybe we need to have quiet CPR rooms and gentle handling of tissue.
I guess it's sort of akin to the ability of viruses and other microorganisms to survive for quite some time outside human hosts.
It will be exciting to see where this leads.
