Can I challenge the LVN exam?

I had a quick question for you. I am in school to be a medical assistant and I was wondering if after I finish, can I challenge the lvn/lpn exam. my boyfriend was in the navy as a coreman and they were allowed to challenge it and they were considered medical assistants.

I have 9 months consecutive bedside care PLUS years of hands on experience in the field BEFORE and AFTER being in the Army. I am certianly qualified and can pass the exam. Isn't there some way I can appeal this decision and be grantted the opportunity to take the test?

you cannot in florida.according to the board, military education does not equal nursing education. ma's do not know drugs and military medics don"t either. lpn and medic or ma job description is totally diffrerent as well as education
