Does anyone know where I might obtain a breast cancer necklace--the one that has the wooden beads the diameter of breast cancer tumors at certain stages (one bead is the size of a typical breast CA tumor discovered by mammogram, another bead the typical tumor size discovered by self-breast examination, etc.). Thanks for any and all leads. :kiss

First of all, if you haven't seen this, order the catalogs NOW. They're essential for health educators of all kinds. http://www.healthedco.com has the necklace (and HUNDREDS of other items- some an arm and a leg, some AMAZINGLY affordable) but you have to get ten at once ($5.99 a piece). I tried to post the pic here but it wasn't working. If you go to the site, in the keyword box, type in necklace. It should pull up the item for you. If you do nothing else, please order these catalogs. You won't believe the stuff they have in there! I look through these and DROOL.

This particular necklace is the one created and copyrighted by the University of North Carolina and Washington University.

It was also the only one I could find! Maybe some of the other instructors would go in with you on it, and each of you could buy one necklace?

Edited to add:

If you can't afford this, why don't you try going to Michael's craft store? They have beading supplies in the jewelry section; if you looked up how big the tumors are at various stages (
