Hi Stephera,

I have always had good of luck with Amazon.com. Enter the title of your book and then look for the used link. I generally email the seller before purchasing and ask if they can ship quick. If not, move on to someone who can.

Good luck.

Why not just get your books from the bookstore? They usually are about the same price as amazon. 1 or 2 might end up being a little more but you'll make up for that on shipping from amazon unless you happen to get free shipping.

I never found textbooks to be any cheaper at Amazon, especially once the shipping costs are added in.
I say go to your college bookstore.

I wouldn't have to be going through this is they would just finish my financial aid packet. I dropped off my last paper yesterday and she said they will be out of the office today and mon, tues , and weds, they are registering people so it will not be done until after that!! So , I thought I might find them cheaper online. But she could have done it yesterday instead of just sitting there -lol. I am taking two online and the ones I am taking in person are on monday 17 and Wed. 19 but I don't know rather to wait and maybe they will get done with it next thurs or fri, or go ahead and buy my books. I really don't have the money for them!! I don't know what to do!

Agree with actioncat. Only once have I found the book cheaper used online at Powells.com. It's always the shipping costs that hike up the price. Especially since I'm back in Hawaii.

If this is only for the first couple of weeks of school, find out if the books you need are on reserve or otherwise available at the college library. Since I almost was a librarian (and still work in a library), I never reccomend this as a long term solution, but it may do until you get the money. Another tip from a friend is once class starts and you know for sure you're not reading the whole book, you can photocopy the pages you need from a friends book. You'll need to price it out, but sometimes, it ends up cheaper then buying the book at 10 cents a page.

Right now, BN.com has free shipping (less than 3d delivery) with orders $25+
I ordered a couple of textbooks and received them in 2d.
