Hello all!
I have made the commitment an have decided to become a CNA. Despite that, I have done nearly everything your average CNA has as a Caregiver but I digress.
The pay is much better for CNA's, the jobs are of much more variety and the working enviorments(Hospital work is what I had in mind) should be much better learning experience as opposed to work in a Nursing home or similar.
I have a question to ask. I've heard people with less than a year experience as a CNA working in various settings(Med-Surg,Psych..etc) for an agency and making very good pay.
Has anyone heard of this? Would you reccomend spending the $300 to $500 dollars to become a CNA? Also, do Psych units use CNA's much? That is one the main reasons I would like to become a CNA so I can become apart of that area.
Thanks!!
