It is amazing what they can do with HLHS babies now. A good friend of mine has a 3 year old daughter who had HLHS. She almost died a year and half ago and received a heart transplant with very little time left. She is now an active preschooler and doing pretty well.

I just noticed he was at the same hospital that did her surgery, they are one of the best when it comes to HLHS!
