I am 16yrs. and running a temp of 103.6. I've taken all the OTC drugs to reduce it and nothing's worked. My mom called the Mds office and the nurse said that it was not a serious temperature. What do you think, my mom says it is but the doctors nurse says it isn't. What would you do w\your child if in this situation? ER?

Nope, I haven't had the vaccination. Like dawn said it's a fairly new vaccine. I've had these before but it wasn't a bad case, but this time it's really bad, and the flu is on top of it !

I've had Chicken Pox twice also- once at about age 5 and once at age 35. I didn't feel very sick as an adult having them; but the dang Pox kept spreading for a long time so I was isolated for longer than normal. Not fun. Rest, drink plenty of fluids, etc.

(Good thing your avitor has a face mask, LOL!)

Hah, lol the avatar didn't even cross my mind. I'm just glad i'm not itching...yet

Anybody have any ideas to hlep keep this at bay? I'm so very sick right now. I'm taking benadryl and zofran. Thanks

Brett
