ER nurse as forensic nurse?

I am curious...Can an ED nurse be put under category as a forensic nurse?Do cases needing forensic intervention often come into the ER?Do forensic nurses usually start as emergency room nurses?I am interested in both of these nursing specialties and would like to know if they coincide with each other in some way.Thank you.

I would also like to ask about what a day in the life of a forensic nurse entails.Thank you.
