Did you ask about the point cutoff for this years application? That could give you a better idea of where you're at in the 40. Also, they wouldn't have 40 alternates if there's no chance 40 people could drop out- just positive thinking :)

Congrats everyone -- I got my acceptance letter as well! I tried to search for the Facebook page as well but it's not showing up in my search.

Hmm, I wonder why it's not showing up. Did you try doing a search using the entire group name? I don't think I'm allowed to post direct links on here, so after going to the facebook home page, type in "/groups/668476916501680/?ref=ts&fref=ts" after the ".com" in the URL.

Congratulations to all of you who made it in!!! I got my letter today and didn't make the cut~~That makes 6 no's so far, but I have 5 more schools left to give me an answer! Best of luck to all of you :)
Thank you Chrystal! Good luck! I'm sure you'll get in!
They said cut off was 66... So idk if the 10% from any range factored into my alternate status or I totaled wrong but I thought I had 68
Make an appointment ASAP then!! They reconsider you if it's a mistake. There are some below 66 but they consider it in- if you have above 66 you're in.

I also have been accepted to nursing program. Do you have a job while in the program? I pay all my bills myself and I'm afraid I wont be able to work as much as I need to. How is your class schedule set up? Will there be time to work assuming I will be studying my butt off everyday. Any information will help!
Honestly it depends on how you handle your school work. I was able to work 25-30 hours a week my first semester and not have a problem. The first semester everything is pretty spaced out and is probably the only semester you will be able to work that much. 2nd semester is a completely different story. I am married and clearly have to provide for my family. But spring semester I was only working 15 hrs tops. Which was a huge eye opener for me when it came to finances. But we made it through. Now were in our 3rd semester which is a 6 week summer session. Still working about 15 hrs a week. And dealing with it ok. Next week is the last week of school so Im looking forward to working 35+ hours till school starts back up in August. Hope this helps!
