Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

How's everyone's applications going??? Still the same? Or any change for you?

No changes, but it's the weekend so nothing is gonna happen til the 25th because noone is working on it now

My points are still not updated! But I emailed and they said don't expect anything until the 25th. Which is fine I know they have it! Phheewwww

Honestly it isn't taking any longer than any other semester so we just need to be patient. Next week SHOULD be the week so lets try to breathe and let it happen:)

My advice is start reading as soon as your accepted. First seven chapters pd nursing. Twelve of pharm are the first test. Don't fall behind in skills, schedule well, and stick to it. But don't forget to relax once in a while, it's necessary.

Thanks! That advice is greatly appreciated. :) Yes, I feel like we'll find out this week as well. I feel like Thursday will be decision day.

Hi everyone!! Good luck to all you ladies I wish you the best. I actually go to irsc in Stuart and was thinking of applying For the adn at pbsc instead. Can you give me any advice, like what are your days you have to go to school? Where and what days are clinicals? I really like pbsc better than irsc but I just don't know about the gas and driving An hour each way ... Also do they have online classes ?? Thanks for all the info best of luck again !

Do you have all of the pre and co requisites? You have to take the HESI and procalc exams to get in. You should really attend a information session soon, plus it is required. It is extremely competitive so I suggest getting all of the points you possibly can. If you haven't worked in a health care setting start volunteering. As for school hours there is two days of lecture, two days of clinicals, and a skills lab that can be scheduled alone or on the same day as clinicals. Clinicals can be anywhere in the county. You can also take your lectures online. So that's the full time program for first semester. There is also part time but I'm not really sure how it works. You can go to the school site and look at the class schedule under "search for classes" and check it out. Hope that helped, if you need anything else let me know :)

I'm hoping we find out the 25th, anyone have any predictions what the lowest points will be? I'm thinking 24.6 as my guess

Yes I work as a PCT at Martin memorial hospital. So that means I'd have to drive 4 days a week down south.. Well we shall see . Thanks Again good luck to you all !!!

I don't even wanna guess, it makes me nervous. It would be awesome if we found on out the 25th, but I believe people still don't have points posted.
