Hello,

I am interested in apply to NOVA and wanted to apply for the BHSF scholarship. I have a question for anyone who has been accepted into the scholarship program... how much did they start you off on/or how much will they start you off on? the starting salary? ($30per/hr) or whatever it is? I would love to know so that I know if applying to the scholarship program is worth it or not.

THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CAREER :):redbeathe

Hi I attended Nova but didn't do the Baptist scholarship, Unfortunately I wish I would have had :( with the current economic situation of the country I would rather have a secured job for three years than none :(, believe me look on this website for "New RNs can't find a job" and you will find lots and lots of discussions postings; anyways back to your question the good thing with baptist is that they train you at their hospitals and they make you work like once a week for 6 hours as an CNA while you attend nursing school so i don't know if you like this :uhoh3: but of course they pay you; Also they cover everything!! Books and Tuition which is super expensive at Nova; besides you get to choose the position you want, i have a friend who started in oncology right after school and she did baptist of course; also i think they start you around $21.50 an hour but they have great benefits; I hope this helps! Good Luck!
