Moving to Orlando

U.S.A. Florida

Published

hi everyone. i am moving to orlando in 3 weeks. i am very excited/scared. my husband (married 2 months) accepted a job with disney world. we just found an apartment. i can't believe the rent is $800/mth for a 1bdr 1bth that is just ok. i live in louisiana right now and i can pay that amount for a 2bdrm 2bth luxury apmt.

i do want to start school soon. does anyone know what the good ma or lpn schools are? i am trying to get around paying out of state tuition. know any place that i can do that at for those 2 programs? i really want to be an lpn but i am a little afraid that it will be so hard that i can't do it. i guess i just doubt myself too much. in high school, i was about a c ave so i don't know if that is good enough for lpn school. i hope that i will be able to do it. i would love to be an ob, nicu, or picu nurse and i know that i need my rn to do that but i at this time, i can't go to school for that length of time. i know that i would enjoy working in an ob office as an lpn or even a plastic surg office. i just get confused and don't know what i should do. if i go back for medical assistant, how much do they get paid in an office setting? what about lpn? any one know of a good dr office to work for?

sorry if this sounds like rambling. i was just trying to get everything out.

also, if anyone has an advice on the orlando area, feel free to share. my current job there will be in altamonte springs which is a kind of a long drive for me. i am excited and would love to meet people/nurses around my age that live in the orlando area.

would love to hear from anyone that can help.....:spin:
