Miami Baptist Scholars Program Reviews

U.S.A. Florida

Is anyone here in the Baptist Scholars Program with Baptist Health South Florida? How do you like it so far, what was your GPA, and what sort of job do you think you'll be offered by them upon succesful graduation (ie: days or overnights)? I am interested in this program for a few reasons. One, Baptist is said to be the best organization to work for in South Florida. Two, scholarship aside the opportunity to find gainful employment after graduation is priceless. Finally, of course, the scholarship. Does anyone have any comments or concerns regarding this program? Tips for being considered as an applicant? (I am aware of the application process and am still fufilling my pre-reqs, but am searching out all viable options for financial aid and employment directly following graduation as loan payments will begin 6 months after graduation!)

It is absolutely amazing. I received the scholarship and it is one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life. Baptist is one of the best companies in the country. All of the Baptist health facilities deliver high quality care to patients. Resources are readily available. I would know because I have been in other hospitals and Baptist is definitely on top. Right now many new grads cannot find jobs. I feel so fortunate and blessed to have a job right out of school who is giving thorough training for 4 months to prepare me to be an efficient and safe nurse. Go for it! You wont regret it.
