Good luck! I hear that Mercy's LPN program is very good. They teach well and you learn a lot. I know a teacher there, and she is wonderful.

Not that there is anything wrong with being an LPN,

but if you have your AA why don't you apply to MDC's RN program??

Oh ok. I understand.

That is a god plan, and with Mercy, it will be a good transition, so do well on your LPN so you can get your RN.

oh, there is an LPN-RN program at Barry University also, once you are done with LPN, that is another good choice ;)

also, have you thought about broward college in pembroke pines?

the drive is not that bad, only 20-30mins from mercy.

and a 3.5 should get you in the RN program (just a thought so you won't have to do LPN, and get to RN school faster)

They just changed the requirements for the RN program at MDC. The TEAS test will now be 60% of the deciding factor of getting into the program along with 40% of ur Natural Science courses GPA (only). This starts in Spring 2011 though =/
