Looking for opinions on Kesier in Tampa from anyone that is in the program or has recently graduated. I have my BS in Business Management so this is a career change and since time is against me, Keiser seems like a great option - and they're regionally accredited! :yelclap:

Not really interested in the opinions about "it's too expensive" - I understand they have a higher cost but all my prereq's are done so I'll be going straight to the RN program... and this is the best option for me.

I haven't done a tour of their new place yet or talked to anyone there yet - so just curious what others think about them.

Thanks! :)

If all of your prereqs are done, why not pursue a local community college's program? If you have a bachelors degree, you can apply to a university's upper division sequence. I would certainly look at those options beforehand

Long story short, Keiser seems to work best for us so looking for others opinion on the school other than high costs.

Thank you.

I don't know much about this new school but I would suggest looking on the Florida BON's website to see how other Keiser nursing programs have done regarding their NCLEX pass rate. That would be a good indicator for me. I believe that they have a campus in St Petersburg and one in Orlando that has a RN program.

"...see how other Keiser nursing programs have done regarding their NCLEX pass rate."

That's not the complete picture. You also need to know what percentage of students make it through the program, from start to finish. Some schools require you to pass an NCLEX-like test before awarding your degree, and if you don't get a good enough score on it, you get no diploma, and you don't get to sit for that NCLEX. That way, the school gets all your tuition money (you have to pay to take the test as well), and an artificially high NCLEX pass rate.

If only 5% of students they admit take the NCLEX, and all 5% pass, then the school has a 100% pass rate. It's a scam.

How would I be able to find that out? Besides the obvious of just asking the school....

Can anyone give me any reviews on the Keiser campus in Port St. Lucie?
