Congratulations to everyone that will be in the ABSN program! Looking forward to meeting everyone. So much to do and so little time to get things together.

Hey everyone! I was also accepted to the ABSN program at JU. Does anyone know what kind of financial aid/scholarships are available for this program? The idea of taking $50K-$60K in loans makes me rather uncomfortable.

Also may be looking for a roommate! Will know for sure next week.
The school provides a $7k scholarship, you may have heard about it in your general acceptance letter from the school. As far as financial aid, I would apply to fafsa but I believe if you already received a Bachelor's degree, you don't qualify for free money, only those direct stafford loans. I think the school will mention more about scholarship info when they send out the acceptance packages. You can always google scholarship opportunities for future nurses online!.... Hope that helped a little.
Thanks spatel, it did help.
Anyone still looking for a roomie? The creeps on craigslist are not cutting it.
