Any Nurses in Englewood or Port Charlotte

Hi just wondered if there were any nurses who work in Englewood or Port Charlotte. We are looking to move to Englewood next year and I am looking for an Oncology hospital ideally or a nice Hospice. :)

I live in UK but have been to Englewood a few times on holiday (Rotonda West) and there are loads of hospitals around there. You are sure to find something that suits you.

We love rotonda west, we have some land out there which we are hoping to build on next year, I will have a look around for the hospitals as the only one I have seen was a vascular centre Port Charlotte.:mad:

Tidewell is the main hospice in Charlotte County and the surrounding areas. The 3 facilities in Charlotte County and one in Englewood all are general acute care hospitals -- small-medium community facilities and corporate owned. I can't speak for Englewood Community, but Fawcett and Peace River ... I'd avoid working anywhere in those two facilities. I don't believe Charlotte Regional in Punta Gorda is much better.

HCA owns Fawcett and Englewood Community. Health Management Associates owns Peace River and Charlotte Regional.

You're better off working for Sarasota Memorial if you want hospital setting. Their cancer program ranked among the top in US News & World Report.
