Just a thread for the applicants of Rady Children's hospital RN Residency for October 2017. My first choice was NICU and second choice was heme-onc! Has anyone heard anything?

I applied as well with no status change as well! First: Medical, Second: Surgical. I've been working there the past three months as a Patient Care Assistant and its an absolutely great place to work!
Hey y'all- I have a question... are y'all's resumes 1 or 2 pages? In nursing school one of my instructors always said only one page, but then I heard other conflicting info. I ended up making mine 2 pages just so it wasn't so cluttered.

Hello fellow Texan! Haha I love that we both used y'all in our posts! I only made my resume 1 page, since everyone in the Texas Medical Center told me that they will not read 2 pages! However, who knows what employers actually want!
Does anyone happen to know how many people usually apply?

Hi everyone :) I also heard a 1-page resume is ideal. My leadership prof was a former hiring manager and said her managers will typically will only spend 10-15 seconds looking at a resume (at least that was her experience)!
Anyone happen to know if we are able to update our app? I recently passed my boards but don't see anywhere to edit information.

Hi, NICU & CVICU applicant here - no status change or interview call so far. Has anyone gotten a call from any of the units yet?

NICU and Oncology applicant. Waiting as well. I think it was only a couple weeks for the winter applications before they starting telling people about interviews. They definitely move a lot quicker than Sharp.

Has anyone heard anything? I applied for ED and NICU and haven't had a status change or anything.
I haven't heard a thing- hopefully if anyone does they'll post.

I just spoke with the nurse recruiter who handles the residency program and she said we probably won't hear about interviews for 2-3 weeks because they are still reviewing the applications.
Wow- that's good to know! Thanks for posting!
