Hi...Well I finally got my ATT, and my NCLEX is on July 22. For those of you who have taken it already, do you get a break or possibly multiple breaks? I am gonna be about 8 and a half months pregnant with number three and I don't think I can sit for 265 possible questions without a break. Thanks for any replies

Yes, you can take as many breaks as you need, but they all count against your time. There are two scheduled breaks. The first is at 2 and 1/2 hours, and another at 3 and 1/2, I think. This information is available through your testing site, so just ask before entering the test room. You will just have to raise your hand, and they will let you out of the room. You will be finger printed every time you enter and leave the testing area, which is no big deal. I admire you for being able to continue your schooling while dealing with your pregnancy. We had three women who had children during my time in nursing school, and they all did just fine, and you will too. Just try to eat a decent breakfast on the morning of the test, and get settled down mentally before sitting for your test. It's just another test... Unlike a 5th semester final exam, you will have another chance to take this test, if things don't work out the first time. I'm waiting for my results, and I'm not sure how well I did on my NCLEX. If you believe in prayer, it sure seems to help calm my anxieties before a test. One way or another, God will see you through...Take care, and good luck on your test, your pregnancy, and your future in general. Be cool...Darby
