One year of experience, and still feeling nervous

I've been an RN for a little over a year now. I worked at one hospital on a critical care floor for my first year, and then was able to find a job closer to home. I switched to a hospital closer to home after about a year of experience, and have been there for about 3-4 months now. The floor I work on now is also a critical care floor very similar to my first job. At both facilities I had/have AMAZING colleagues. However. . . I still feel so incredibly anxious before I go to work everyday. I knew it would be like this for a while, but I feel like I've been doing it long enough that I shouldn't feel scared everyday. Is this normal? I feel like part of it is that I was just starting to feel confident at my first job (I just could not take the commute anymore) and then I switched jobs and feel like I've almost started over. Has anyone else gone through this before? I guess I just need some reassurance that it will get better . . .

Maybe its because you only been with your new employer for 3-4 months?

like you said, you started getting confident after a year on the other job.
