Hello everyone.. I graduated in May with ASN, took boards in August and failed.. went traveling and now am studying again.. i want to start working in the field again, but do not know if I am able to work as an aide, cna, pca or er tech..since I have a degree but am not licensed.. I live in Florida and plan on taking the NCLEX again in January.. any info would be greatly appreciated..

Specializes in LTAC, Homehealth, Hospice Case Manager.

Most places in Florida will hire you on in any of the positions you mentioned. I've found it pretty much depends on the facility as to what the job is called. Try contacting the nurse recruiters of the facilities you'd like to try working at...they can tell you what you need to do & what you can apply for. Good luck to you! :)

I'm sure you could try looking for CNA of Patient Tech positions. Get into contact with nursing recruiters. Wishing you all the best.
