My name is Emily Jones and I am a student at (). I am collecting information for my capstone project about Nursing Orientation Revision.

Description of Project:

-This study will provide insight about deficits in the nursing orientation process for the purpose of future improvement with nursing orientation.

-New graduate nurses (less than one year since graduation) will participate via survey in an online forum.

-An online questionnaire comprising five brief sections will be utilized for the study.

-Ten to thirty completed surveys will need to be obtained for the purpose of this study.

Confidentiality:

All information obtained from the survey will be kept confidential by the researcher. The results will be aggregated so the participants may remain anonymous.

Participation:

All participation is completely voluntary. Participants may withdraw from the study at any time.

Benefits and Risk:

The benefits of the study include improving awareness about new graduate nurses (NGN's) learning needs in order to improve future orientation for NGN's. There are no anticipated risks associated with the study.
