Dayton Ohio New Grads

I've tried posting this thread in the Ohio Region; however, I am not getting any luck with responses, so I thought I would post here! I am graduating in December with my BSN and I am moving to the Dayton, Ohio area 3 days after graduation. There are numerous threads about new grads not finding a job, and it scares me. How is the Dayton, Ohio area for new grads??

From what I hear, hiring is picking up. I go to school in the area and will graduate next spring and am hopeful that there will be jobs available. Definitely start talking to the HR people and see what's available. I know some places will do internship programs for new grads, which I think sounds great. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. I have talked to the recruiters at the major hospitals in the area about the internship/residency programs and I am applying to them. It is hard moving to a different state so shortly after graduation and having absolutely no opportunity to network while in school! I am still hoping for the best :)
