You can wait a year, 5 years and you are still going to feel the same way about your RN-BSN program. I was a diploma grad that did a RN-BSN program in my first year as a new nurse. I agree, it was mainly busy work, discussions, writing papers, not alot that you could put into actual practice. That being said, in this day and age with more and more employers looking for the BSN, I am glad I went back to school and got it. I would try to stick it out.
