Vango notes r.o

Nursing Students Excelsior

Published

I have two exams left LS2 and LS3 :lol2:, with only 20 days to study per each. I am trying to find "tango notes' on my iPhone app so I can download the app and listen to it while driving. Does anyone know where to find these audio study guides ??

Natnat122,

Have you found the vango notes to be helpful for LS3? (just curious)

I wish I thought of them when I was doing my theory exams, it would have been nice to have an audible resources.

Yep Medical surgical nursing with rationales and reviews by Mary Ann Hogan :)

NatNat,

Thanks for the feedback, good to know

Noooo problem! :)

I just wanted to say that after reading this thread, I downloaded the Vango notes for Med-Surg and I really didn't like it.

I'm an auditory learner, but the people reading spoke like they were robots and they mispronounced A LOT of words (at least in the respiratory chapter.) In fact when I first heard the voices I thought they had just run the text through a text to voice computer program, but at second glance I realized real people were reading the text, just very very robotically and unnaturally.

This was just too distracting for me. I can deal with mispronounced words, but not the voices. I won't be using this to study.

It may not be a problem for some people, but it was for me. Just wanted to put this out there since I did blow about $20 on the book.

Anyone able to copy and paste a breakdown of the chapters for these audiobooks: phathophys, A&P, fundamentals ???

Out of all 10 available which would you pick first?

I agree, I didnt find vangonotes helpful at all. It seems to work for some people though.
