Taking transitons test advice please

I am going to be taking my transitions test for excelsior first week of sept. i have studied the modules from the college network and the practice tests. i need advice from other people who have taken this test. what did you study? what should i focus on? any other study materials for this test out there?//? any information would be greatly apprectiated.

I studied hard for about two days for that test, made a C.

If you're grades were in the 70's for the Excelsior Practice test, take the actual test, you're ready. You did buy the Excelsior practice tests, right? If you didn't, do it. Some of the questions from the practice tests will be on the actual exam.

I used Lisa Arneds notes, which I thought were inadequate. I've since moved on to StudyGuide101 and Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination.

I highly, and I can't use the word HIGHLY strongly enough here, recommend the Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination. It's worth it's weight in gold, copper and silver. Yeah, it's that good.

I can't really tell you what to focus on because the entire content guide was on my exam, so know everything EC recommends. I will say this, I had one question on civics, yes, honest to goodness high school civics. I was like "***!!!" Obviously I can't tell you what the question was, but yeah, high school civics!

I took it on June 10, 2014. I made a c on it. I had a A LOT and I mean A LOT of select all that apply. I was happy that I passed it. I posted about my test on here. Good luck

if you haven't bought the studygroup 101 notes, then do so because that would help you for this and future exams. this exam content is not that bad but they will trick you as far as questions!! stay focused dont get in the loop of thinking into questions and never go back to change answers because 95%/time people will change the right to wrong//

I had centralized and decentralized questions on mine. I didn't really study it because I thought it would cover more insurance topics. I literally choked back tears. I knew I failed it. I was soooo happy to get a C.

Thats great you passed though :cat: i have been doing the practice exams thru college network modules and i have ranged from 95- 99 % I just get really bad test anxiety. So thats what I am worried about.
