Thought this may be useful. There is a site that offers the Information Literacy requirement for EC for $135 plus $25 online proctor fee from home at torahcollegecredits.com It looks quick and straightforward and they send a transcript to EC for free. They also have many other Gen Ed options for less than $200.

Looks much cheaper! Did EC accept this for Info Lit credit?

According to the website it's a course developed by Coopersmith and has approval from the NCCRS (National College Credit Recommendation Service).

That's good, but EC also has to accept it for credit in place of its own course.

One student I know who sought permission to use this course for the Info Lit course was denied - she was told it must be taken through EC. This course is not acceptable for EC students, it seems.

EC has been rejecting anything other than their own course for a while now.
