What type of social media have your found most useful for your business or service?

Being a Nursepreneur, I have come across various ways to market myself online via social media. Of course, the top three are Google, Facebook, and Youtube. Have you had any results with other social media services like linkedin, twitter, or blogs? What about social syndication strategies or article writing. I'm having success speaking with like-minded people about business on LinkedIn...more than I had expected before I put myself out there.

What type of business are you in?

Blogging and Facebook are good ways to improve search engine results. Facebook can be used more directly for marketing. Linked In is more for professional networking to find or market direct services, not so much for SEO or broader marketng. But it really depends on what kind of business you are in. I have zero need of any of them as a self employed traveler (I do consider myself an entrepreneur as a business owner but some may not). However, I will have to do both blogging and Facebook for an upcoming web based business for best results.

Travel nurse related business. I'm not really able to discuss it until it gets further along. But a good bit of advice for entrepreneurs is to leverage what you know in your startup. Travel nursing is what I know inside and out from both traveling, and owning an agency.
