Nurse entrepreneurs,

I just started my second business venture as an energy consultant with a company out of Dallas,TX. I am building a successful team of consultants who are as enthusiastic as I am in becoming financially independent. Retail energy -everybody uses it; everybody pays for it. It's recession proof.

I plan on retiring in two years - that's my goal, that's how successful my team will become. I want to name my own hours, not work holidays or weekends and never have to get up at 5am - ever, ever again. Other than that, I'll work my butt off to make my team a success. My motivation is to never work as a bedside nurse, ever again. 25 + years in the ICU was enough for me.:yeah:

Nurses can do whatever they set their minds to!

Can you explain what you mean by energy consultant? Congrats in your new venture!

Specializes in ICU/ER.

I signed on with a retail energy company as a consultant. My job is to save people money on their electric bills and to show other people how they can do the same. Besides having some of the lowest retail energy prices, the company rewards their customers with free travel benefits and the ability to qualify for totally free energy. That means no monthly electric bill (except for the line charges which average about 5 or 10/month). I am one of the biggest skeptics in the world and when I originally heard about the company I had my doubts. However, I am finding out that they are the real deal...and my earning potential is unlimited.:yeah:

Congratulations on your new adventure - Do you do a lot of cold calling and how do you deal with the rejection ?

Marc, you simply invite, over and over again. Yes, I get a lot of no's but I just move on until I get a yes. A "no" is not rejection. It's just a person who is not in a position to see the opportunity. You don't take it personally.
