I'm a new grad in the ER, and I hate greeter mode, as I like to call it. It sucks when I'm triaging one patient and getting them settled, and then another one comes in untriaged. Right now, I have my preceptor as back up. But once that ends, I don't know what the hell I'm going to do. I knew I was being lied to when my manager said I would only go out to triage after six months of experience. I'm triaging right now. Six months my foot.
