Hi everyone,

I have been in search of a book that will help me get more info in ER nursing. I bought "Fast Facts for the ER nurse" but I wasn't really satisfied with the book.. I have looked at Sheehy's Manual of Emergency Care and Sheehy's Emergency Nursing: Principles and Practice". And I am kinda confused of which one to buy..since both seem to be a bit high in cost..lol....:specs:

So, my questions are, are they the same or do they apply to different professionals?

Which one of the two delivers current and relevant information in emergency nursing skills and drug facts?

Sheehy's is the ER manual. There should be at least one copy available in your department.

They both do but the manual is more of a summary. I like it and still use it after four years in the ED.

I also like Emergency Nursing Procedures by Jean Proehl
