Taking CEN next week and I am very nervous, any ideas last minute advice? I have been studying casually for 4 months now. Neuro and cardiac seems a intimidating.

I actually have been studying Jeff Solheim recorded seminar, Boswell and the ENA CEN book. I have actually been doing well on the practice test, I took the BCEN exam today and made 68%:confused: and that makes me feel really bad. And I have been studying almost every day for the last month or so.

Im in the same boat as you--studying nearly everyday for the past month and also took Jeff Solheim seminar, which, I think is very informative. They offer a refund for the seminar if you fail the CEN, as long as you take it within 60 days of finishing the seminar.

My average test scores are b/w 68-72 right now...But still 2 weeks out and have to review alot of material.

When do you take your test???

I am taking it on Tuesday, I am scoring between 82 and 92 on practice test and 68 to 71 on examination.

Which practice tests are you referring too? Im assuming you took the BCEN prep exam and got a 68-71 ?

I dont think Im going to pay for the practice exam from BCEN. Do you think it will help, as far as learning content? I am taking the 5 practice exams from the ENA CEN book and feel like that should be sufficient as far as practice exams go---thats over 700 practice questions!!!

I took the CEN last December passing with a 97%. I attended a CEN review course by Mark Boswell and would highly advise the same if you get a chance. I thought the test was quite easy after the prep from the course and I did no further studying other than re-reading his book the day before the test. Mark also made some of the videos available on youtube, take a look, well worth your time. http://www.youtube.com/user/boz287 is the link for the youtube site.

Sorry it took me so long to write back...I did pass the CEN on Friday. Felt relatively confident going in but once some of the questions came up I almost started to panic.

Really wished I had done a practice exam on top of the studying I did, but in the end I passed it.

Good luck to those about to take it!!!

Thanks so much for the link!

Anything that surprised you on the test? Did it meet your expectations? What were your scores on practice tests?
