Hi! I am in the RN program at DTCC Terry campus. Hoping to graduate in May 2011 (as long as I pass). I took my LPN boards over the summer and passed so I do have my LPN license now. I haven't found a job yet because all of the places want you to do orientation during the daytime and with school I just can't do it.

I go to Terry Campus as well.. I'll graduate in December. Only 6 more weeks!!

It seems that Terry campus is more popular than Stanton. If anyone knows the area is the commute good fom Newark to Terry campus. I'll b moving to DE right after Christmas and sill debating if I should enrolled at Stanton campus or Terry I am scaed of the commute but it seems that Terry offers more than Stanton.

I live in Bear, and it will be about a 40 min commute for me. I met with an advisor, and she told me that they do a bunch of their clinicals at Christiana, which make it a little better. I prefer Terry because you get in faster. I'm hoping to get in next fall. Stanton I wouldn't get a seat until 2013 at the earliest.

Thank you so much for your response is hard when you are not leaving in the area yet. I think I am going to enrolled there too tonight lol!!!To send my transcript asap and I need to call them tommorow to see what I need to do with my foreign(french) high school diploma!

So did you take the nln yet? Did you do any pre req?

I'm taking AP1 right now at Stanton campus. I'll be taking the NLN in January. You can take your pre-reqs at Stanton and then switch when it's time to rank. Good luck to you!

Thank you for the luck. I actually did Ap1 & Ap2 + mico already that's why I am a bit scared of the wait....I did all the pre reqs inlcuding med terminalogy, psy, now I am doing pharmacology , hum and com.

Also,Stanton is just a straight RN program. Terry offers the option that after the first two semesters you can take your LPN test and start working as an LPN while still in school for your RN. Wasn't sure if either of you would be interested in that or not. The Stanton campus does not offer mental health during the first clinical year, whereas Terry does. The Delaware board of Nursing won't let you take the LPN boards unless you have had mental health.
